MCp were commissioned to secure permission for a replacement medical centre and pharmacy on the site of an existing surgery to meet modern NHS requirements, on behalf of the practice doctors. The final, approved, scheme comprised a mixed-use building, including 24 residential apartments, to enable the provision of the community facility. Involved extensive pre-application discussions given the location within a regeneration area, and public engagement. Marchini Curran Associates acted as the architect.
